Finish What You Start

Praise Jesus Christ!

Greetings my beloved family and friends!  Thank you for returning once again to our blog, 'Finish What You Start'!  We have come a long way together since the inception of these writings, and I trust your life is better off because of the God-Given Wisdom of these articles. Today we kind of want to go back to our roots by analyzing the term and title of this blog 'Finish What You Start'

To finish what you start, you must obviously begin something.  Every destination has a beginning and an ending.  The key is to start the journey strong, and to finish even stronger.  It is imperative that we not let complacency get in the way of completing a task.  Yes, every journey has peaks and valleys, I am not denying this.  But when we walk balanced on level ground, the journey is much easier, and not as strenuous.  To reach this balance, we must give ample attention to the daily tasks we are bombarded with.  Just as there is a portion of seasoning we put into a delicious meal, we must give a certain amount of 'mental seasoning' to everything we do, in order to not focus all our attention on a particular task, leaving little if any energy or focus for other important desires that need to be accomplished.

It's really not that difficult to finish what you start.  All it takes is a vision, and the decision to see that vision come to fruition no matter how long it takes or what obstacles arise.  Remember, you may not get to your destination at the exact time you planned, but if you're persistent and don't give up, you will get there.

So pray about where you are right now and where you want to be in the next month, year, or five years from now.  Ask God to give you Wisdom and Guidance in order that you develop a goal-oriented plan that you can accomplish in a timely manner.  Write down the steps to accomplishing each of your goals.  Take one day at a time Flee from all discouragement, by focusing on Christ and on what you've already accomplished.  And finish each day better than you started it!  May God be with you, and may He give you the desires of your heart!  Be Blessed!
